WoJ: 'Eat, drink & be merry'

Another Christmas card today using Whiff of Joy stamps, this time it's little Henry Mouse again. Just love this lil' guy and in particular these 2 just seemed they'd belong together as the phrase 'eat, drink & be merry' came to mind when I saw them.

So pulled out some more gorgeous MME papers and played around until I had a background for these 2 guys then just added the sentiment and bit of ribbon & faux stitching just to frame it all and card done. If you click on photo you will get a better/bigger view of the card and the glitter/colours will look better.

Hope you like it! Thanks for dropping by.

  • Stamps: Henry Mouse from WoJ. Sentiment created with a studio g mini alphabet set. the mini christmas sentiment is another studio g set
  • Colouring: Copics then 'white fluffy stuff' added to the santa hat trim and quick blast with heatgun to puff it up. Stickles added to the candy dots on the cookie and stardust pen to bits of the wooly hat.
  • Paper: MME 'wonderful winter' stack
  • Tools: petite scallop circle nesties, SU word window punch, dressmakers tracing wheel to create the faux stitching holes around the edges which I then draw in stitches - love how realistic this looks
  • Others: ribbon, bella's bauble

Lovely card Fran - love the papers, and Henry with hot chocolate is one of my favourites. What a fabulous idea for the faux stitching - might give that a try myself!
    Love, Andrea xx
