Morning! A special card and request today, with the chance of some fab candy, so please read on . . .
Being on the Whiff of Joy Design team means I am lucky to get to work with beautiful stamps drawn by the most amazing illustrators. One of those illustrators is Alison Acton, who is awaiting the birth of her first child, a little boy, due end of this week. Katharina has set us the challenge of rallying all you WoJ fans to make her and her husband Jim a Welcome Baby card and to send it to them so that they will be flooded with lots of lovely cards to welcome their new arrival. In return, you get the chance to win 2 WoJ Alison Acton stamps of your choice (courtesy of Katharina).
So if you would like to join in, please make a card then:
- email me here and I'll forward you details of where to address and send your card.
- To enter candy, remember to take a photo of your card before you send it!, and post about it on your blog. Come back here and link that post on Mr linky at the end of this post (NOT in the comments please)
- It would be nice if you used a WoJ stamp but not compulsory.
- Candy open till 23rd October, winner announced on the 30th October

AND there's more !!!! Katharina will give away a complete set of Alison's next Whiff of Joy release called "Happy Mail" to one of the lovely crafters who has sent a Baby card to Alison and her hubby so make sure you visit her blog to enter!!
Right, if you're still here after all that blurb, here's the card I made for the parents-to-be. It's a big card (A4 folded in half). I've used 2 of Alison's cute party animal stamps she designed for the last release, coloured with Copics, DCWV baby stack paper with some faux stitching, ribbon and bling. Used some Nestie dies to cut out the shapes and some alphabet stickers for the wording and job done! Wanted a clean, fresh, modern card and nothing too fussy or girly and think this fits the bill. I hope they will like it.
I really hope you can join in and spread the word and am looking forward to seeing all your baby cards.
