'hey dude'

Needed birthday card for teenage boy (nephew) so just had to ink up one of the Ian's from the 'My guy' set. Teamed him up with a brick wall and graffiti sentiment from Magnolia and found some grungy/graffitti type paper to go with it.

Made this fab standing card which I saw over on Suzanne's blog the other day, here (love her work!) which instantly appealed to me and wanted to try as it's one of those that looks complicated but is in fact very simple to put together - my sort of card!

The shot above shows you side view so you can see how it opens up and folds open. Here's a shot from the front:

and this is the card shut flat ready to pop into a regular square envelope (although it was still springing up slightly at the back so doesn't look square, but it is!);

Oh, little heads up - not sure if Silly Monkey's has this set in stock yet but there's lots of other Greeting Farm stamps not to mention many other ranges AND it's 10% off EVERYTHING for the next couple of days to celebrate Bryony's birthday, so what are you waiting for?

Stash:
  • Stamps: 'My guy Ian' set Greeting Farm. Wall, Graffitti sentiment and star are Magnolia stamps
  • Colouring: Copics
  • Paper: K& Co Urban Rhapsody'
  • Tools: EK spiral punch, MS fench punch and SU word window punch, distresser tool
  • Others: twill footprint ribbon
