T&F ATC: glittery 'somebirdy'

ATC theme this week is 'all that glitters'. So out came the embossing powder, glimmer mist, glossy accents, glamour dust and stickles.

Used this gorgeous flower flourish for the background (Magnolia stamp), heat embossed with 'gunmetal grey' powder. Edges swiped with 'weathered wood' distress ink then whole thing spritzed with 'creme de cocoa' glimmer mist. Tilda with birdcage coloured with Copics, lots of glittery bits added then stuck on to ATC with 3d foam. To emboss just the birdcage I stamped a seperate cage onto acetate and added the embossing powder to that then just cut it out and stuck it on top. If you click on photo for closer look it is all super sparkly and glittery (my fave bit is her shoes :D).

Off to make my CCT card for tomorrow now and try and stay away from the pc as stash diet is in serious trouble of failing at the first hurdle after I saw this and this yesterday (and then also got reminder email for Magnolia Autumn kit) . . . decisions, decisions!

Thanks for dropping by.

She's glittered to perfection Fran! If her shoes were red, she could've doubled for Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz!
how do cut her out? Scissors or craft knife? Whichever you use, you don't half do a neat job!
