CCT: Thanks Miss

As it's near the end of term, CCT this week wants to see 'thank you' cards for your kids teachers.

I don't have kids so don't need any, but my sister who's training to be a teacher did ask for a thank you card for a fellow teacher and this is what I made for her.

  • Image: desk stamp from High Hopes, thank you is a rub on and the A+ written with white gel pen
  • Colouring: desk coloured with copics, blackboard bit paperpierced with piece of black card. Added glaze pen over the chair and apple for glossy effect
  • DP: K & Co 'so saffron' this piece was perfect as the reverse side was the yellow notepaper which I just sanded to look like torn bit of paper and I added paperclip in corner
  • Others: just black rub on sentiment and brads in the corners

Thanks for stopping by, have a good day.

That's a really lovely card. I have been making cards for both my children's teachers for a while but they tend to be rather unconventional thank you cards with sentiments for the particular teacher inside: like this one :

Fabulous card Fran!! Love what you did here! That paper is so pretty (forgot I had some!) and the desk and such is perfect!! Nice sentiment as well!! Very creative ~ wish I had that! I always have to go with the image that fits in place of making a scene!! (LOL) Someday it will come to me ~ hopefully! Maybe when the kids are grown! (LOL)
Well I hope you have a great week-end and thanks for the kind words on Rach. Today she has had 3 freeze pops already and it is not yet 8am so I think she must be feeling better!!
