It's my niece's 15th birthday today so as usual left it till night before to make the card! Can't believe she's 15 already, where does the time go?!!
Anyway, when they hit teenage years money seems to go down well so wanted to make a card where I could slot some money in as well. Then I looked at 2 of the sketch challenges this week and it all fell into place.
So for the front of the card I used the sketch over on Friday Sketchers (just turned it upside down) to make this:
Then the inside looks like this
where I have used Katharina's sketch over on Stamp something on the right hand side:
and found it was perfect to adapt into flap so that it lifts up to reveal pocket underneath, like so (taken before I added any money!):

Materials:- Images: hamish chef, Hamish with flowers & Maggie with present from 'Maggie & Hamish' range from Funky Kits. coloured with prismas/sansodor and some stickles. Circle 'sending love' seal is cats life press stamp. 'Happy bday' is from See D set
- Paper/card: just used 2 sheets from DCWV 8x8 blossoms & butterfly stack and managed to use it all up so no scraps left over, which is a first for me! plus brown card base and some pink glitter card.
- Others: various nestabilities dies, SU word window punch to punch out pc printed greeting for the front and some gem brads from stash, dymo printer, scrap bit of card and sandpaper to create inside words 'show me the money'!
I'm really pleased with this card and like the way the inside is as colourful as the front - might have to do some more like this, it was fun. Off to do some DT stuff then need to do some proper jobs :(
Have a good day.
